ABOUT SARAH

Born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand, now based in Wellington.

Growing up, movies and documentaries always stood out to me. I had so many questions. How did they put it all together? Why did this movie bore me? Why do I feel the need to skip to the good part? All of these questions never amounted to an answer. Just more questions so I decided to bring it upon myself to immerse myself into the world of film.

There is so much in this world that is unseen and unheard, media that is manipulated, and injustice that remains so. I have always been an outside viewer, absorbing opinions, listening to people fight over politics and voice their opinion without listening to constructive responses. I have lived my life listening to these conversations and gained my own perspective. I have noticed how small and although relevant to the person, peoples opinions can be. In this over populated world everyone thinks that their opinion means something and it does, but I think you can make them bigger. 

I also want to show the beauty of this world. With the limited time that i've explored this country and others. There is so much beauty in the world that I want to share. Beautiful places, beautiful people and beautiful things.  I want to make sure that people who are unable to visit these places feel like they have somewhat explored the through my media.
